    During a power outage, the bulb will last over 90 minutes on battery.
    No ballast is required to operate these lamps.
    Product comes with a pair of sockets to indicate which side is constant hot.
    To wire this lamp, a constant hot is needed on the side of the tube with the battery (marked red).
    The other side of the lamp is where you can wire up a switched power source.
