Fair-Good overall vint cond: For sale is this very nice & well used, early 20th c American vint Clayton & Lambert Co of Detroit, MI signed & dated 1921, brass & cast iron light industrial & manufacturing blow torch, w/cast iron upper torch assembly, finger turn flame adjustment wheel, brass body & brass wheel turn. The cast iron upper torch assembly has a perforated, reticulated nozzle. The lower brass body exhibits signs of not only being prev used but used often & apparently as an everyday tool, used by a steam fitter, residential or commercial plumber. The attached rear handle appears to be either missing or was purposely removed to allow the torch to reach especially hard-to-reach areas in need of soldering. The brass body has some minor to mod scuffs, abrasions, shallow dings & dents. The cast iron upper torch assembly isn't deformed & appears complete. The torch is signed w/a maker's stamped brass shield affixed to its front & dated 1921. Close to, if not, 100 years old. Great.
