These NPN silicon transistors have been sourced for cookie cutter gains with sweet and very musical tonality. With single coil pickups, open position cords are not only
intelligible
, but are awesome even at full-on fuzz. Each note on the
fret board sustains but still sings with clarity.
Every Q1 has an
identica
l low gain and every Q2 has an
identical
higher gain for absolute
consistent
performance pair to pair. These were selected after 40 years of searching, experimenting, playing and admittedly, with a little luck. These are perfect replacements for original circuit Silicon pedals. (You don't have to give them away.) The original circuit can be found many places on the web. NO values are changed from the
original
silicon pedal circuit (The output resistor should be 330 Ohms).
No additional biasing needed

The pin-out is E-B-C looking at the flat side, leads facing down. The price is for two transistors. Because these are tested electronic components, returns are not
