    This is an exact replica of Ancient Rome sword with Latin name gladius. Used by Roman Legions since 3rd century BC to the 4th century AD. It originated from the Iberian Peninsula. Presented model is the most popular variant of the gladius – Pompeii type.

    It’s a short sword with double edged blade made of tempered steel. The hilt has characteristic wooden, globular pommel and boxed, wooden grip with charateristic notches. The brass nut mounted the blade to the hilt.
