Vintage Mercury Electric Sewing Knee Foot Pedal, Motor/Light Cord needs work

Description

This vintage Mercury brand foot pedal works to control the speed of a sewing machine and provide power to its light.  It has been tested. Both plugs work as does the foot pedal mechanism.  It has a loose wire in the cord which should be replaced or repaired for safety. I did my best to depict and describe condition. Please view all pictures and ask any questions before purchase.
