Information from manufacturer next:
Invader is a bass (and little bit guitar) fuzz pedal with its own strong character. It can give you crazy NES 8-bit console timbre or tons of low frequencies with nice sustain or you can turn a couple of knobs and even get a gated sound of broken burned up rusty amp that is totally ugly but in a good way :)
Features
Controls:
Level
,
Gain
,
Tone,
and secret weapon "
????
" :D
..well it's not really a secret but it is hard to describe correctly and shortly what that knob is doing 'cuz it changes the overall sound character a bit, compression, gating and attack of the effect.
Work of gain knob also depends on the placement of ????. In some settings it is more obvious and in some it has more influence on feelings of playing than on the sound.
True bypass
switching
No provision for battery power; DC operation only; 9v center negative (standard for most pedals)
Mainly it is pedal for bass and literally, on ANY settings you will get cool, interesting and weird but usable sounds.
With guitar.. if you feel adventurous and love unusual sounding fuzzes it definitely worth to try too :) by the way 8bit type of sound, in my opinion, is obtained better with a guitar.
Based on Shoe Pixel with some little tweaks. Definitely check them out!
